About ProKarin (formely Procarin) for Multiple Sclerosis; Prokarin improves the quality of life ms patients
"There is no better way to do things but to do it yourself"

Prokarin, formerly known as Procarin, was pioneered by a nurse called Elaine DeLack, who herself is a sufferer diagnosed in 1988 with MS. DeLack discovered the treatment formula when researching local history and with help from a pharmacist developed a cream that is applied to a transdermal patch and placed on the skin.
The 2 primary ingredients in Prokarin are Histamine 2 and caffeine. DeLack kept using it on herself, and was amazed by the results.

Dr. Nehls says seven out of the nine patients who finished the study gained increased energy and function.
Only two complained of minor side effects. One patient thought the treatment made them drowsy, another said they had trouble sleeping while on the patch. For some, the results were life-changing. Because of Prokarin's apparent effectiveness in the pilot study, DeLack wants to get the treatment approved by the Food and Drug Administration. That will not be an easy task. According to F.D.A.spokeswoman Sue Hutchcroft, the average drug approval process takes seven years and 50-million dollars. It requires three phases of rigorous testing, including double-blind placebo tests. Constantly refused by the big drug companies that told Elaine that  "[it (her invention) didn't make 'Cents' ]" - because it might not bring the usual huge profits from a few affected by MS-  and mocked by the over-paid experts in the MS field, Elaine struggled to patent her finding and eventually succeeded. Today, her invention is called Prokarin, since the name Procarin was claimed to be a close match to Procaria, owned by the biggy Pfizer, that makes billions in profit from its over-priced patented aspirin. How could you ever match such a money-mucled giant in the battle of trade-marks? Thus, Elaine changed a letter, from c to k.
Some doctors in the USA have reviewed DeLack's research and agreed to prescribe Prokarin to patients they think could benefit. Prokarin is considered experimental, though, and without F.D.A approval. Several of the study participants have stayed on the Procarin patch, at their own expense, since the study ended. DeLack says Prokarin is not a cure for MS, but a treatment. A person would have to consistently take the treatment to benefit.
Meet Elaine Delack, creator of Prokarin for Multiple Sclerosis relief

I was fortunate enough that in one evening, late, while looking for some more information about Prokarin, to call and talk personally to none other than Elaine herself.
A very kind, nice and down-to-earth person that still amazes us with her tenacity.
I would like to thank her, again, for everything she did and still does for MS people!
Keep up the good work Elaine, and count on me, whenever.
Sincerely, Marc
